The Miami Heat may have an interesting next few days ahead of them with the NBA trade deadline on Thursday, February 9. All teams around the league will have to have their final moves in by then and that includes this Miami Heat squad.

Already sending away Dewayne Dedmon back to the San Antonio Spurs, while Kyle Lowry‘s name has been hot in the headlines, there is another guy on the roster that begs of a question. When it comes to sharpshooter, Max Strus, a guy that’ll be a free agent and likely command quite a deal this offseason, where should the Miami Heat stand on him?

Well, there are those out there that have a thought on the type of offer he’ll receive and you have to safely assume it’ll be somewhere in the eight to $11 million range, at least, on a per-year basis. With that thought in mind, what should the Miami Heat’s number be?

Beyond that though—is he worth holding onto and possibly losing for nothing or trading now? Perhaps, that is the bigger question.

And in fact, that’s the one we’ll answer here in the latest AllUCanHeat Roundtable.
