The Miami Heat have been a team that has needed to add some size all season long. Although Bam Adebayo was an NBA All-Star for the second time in his career, even he needs some help down there from another big guy who is actually big and can offer some sort of physical presence amongst the towers that still do exist in the league.

Specifically for this Miami Heat team, they’ve seen themselves outdone on the glass, overall and at the most inopportune times, this season on occasions. However, with the addition of Kevin Love, a rebounding powerhouse in his prime, he can still offer a great deal of relief in that area.

And for the Miami Heat, there are other areas where he will surely come in handy as well. When you look at his overall scoring ability, he should allow the Miami Heat to possibly get easier looks at the basket with his remaining ability to position himself in a spot to catch and finish near the hoop.

The Miami Heat made a key addition on the buyout market by nabbing Kevin Love. And just a day or so later, he’s already hard at work perfecting his role.

Kevin Love also still offers something else that the Miami Heat have sorely been missing this season as well. A nearly 40 percent three-point shooter for his career, Love is shooting just a click over 35 percent this season.

However, with what will surely be more opportunities in Miami than he had in Cleveland, he’ll have a great opportunity to raise that figure for the season. And in fact, it does appear that he is already hard at work in the Miami Heat’s facilities practicing to do just that!

Needless to say again, the Miami Heat certainly helped themselves out a ton on the NBA Buyout Market. Officially adding Cody Zeller and Kevin Love to the roster, they have addressed their size issue, allowing their smaller guys to return to doing what they do best.

And if nothing else, Kevin Love’s shooting ability should go a very long way toward helping this Miami Heat team remain in contention throughout the remainder of the regular season and into the postseason.
