The Miami Heat are reeling after a tough loss to their in-state rivals on Saturday night. Losing to the Orlando Magic, their little brothers in the Sunshine State of Florida, the Miami Heat have to get back on the horse as they welcome in the Utah Jazz to their place on Monday.

However, they would also welcome back one of their key guys on Saturday night as well in the contest against Orlando. Making his return from an absence of 15 games, point guard, Kyle Lowry, would return to the Miami Heat lineup.

However, he wouldn’t return to the starting lineup, rather playing off the bench for them. And though it took him a little bit to get going in his new role, the future Hall Of Famer did get going at some point.

The Miami Heat couldn’t come out on the right side, but Kyle Lowry made an impact in his return Saturday. And that’s just what this team needs from him.

And you could just talk about his overall stat line but what was more important and noticeable is the impact he made on this Heat team. En route to 12 points, two rebounds, and four assists in his 36 minutes of action, Lowry’s feisty play would help propel the Heat at times throughout and eventually come up clutch for them in key moments near the end.

Not only would he make a few key steals later in the game as they went on to force the game into overtime, though the heat would show a lackluster effort from the onset of that extra period, he would also be one of their best range shooters on the night from an efficiency and overall effectiveness standpoint.

He would lead them from the outside by shooting 50 percent from range, making a team-high three of his six attempts from out there. Basically, even for all that has seemed to go awry during his Miami Heat tenure and specifically this year for him, his impact was noticeable in this one and it was much needed.

Looking to bounce back off Saturday’s terrible loss, Lowry will continue to look to reacclimate himself, as the hope should be that he can continue to help propel the Heat into postseason contention.
