The Miami Heat have seemingly put everything on the table for Giannis Antetokounmpo, except Bam Adebayo. If there were any fears from the fans that the front office was going to try and nickel and dime their way to a superstar, it's become pretty clear they're not.
Of course, that also doesn't necessarily mean they'll have enough to finalize a deal for Giannis. But, at least this time around, it doesn't appear as if the Heat is lowballing with their offers.
Considering that was one of the biggest criticisms in the Heat's pursuit of Donovan Mitchell, Damian Lillard, and Kevin Durant in the past, it's great to hear that the front office is approaching things differently with Giannis.
And that has to give Heat fans a huge sense of relief.
They already know what players the Bucks would want from extensive negotiations. They're not holding anybody back but Bam to my knowledge.

The Bucks know what the Heat's 'best' would be for Giannis
Even though there is a good portion of Heat fans who are going to get some real PTSD from this entire process, the Bucks and the Heat are in a pretty good spot with each other. Because these trade talks for Giannis aren't new, dating back to last year's NBA Trade Deadline, the two sides know exactly what they can offer.
Milwaukee knows, theoretically, what the Heat's best offer for Giannis would be, and the Heat likely knows what the Bucks would want should conversations get serious.
But that's the true question. Even though it's expected that the Giannis trade talks are going to ramp up between now and next month's NBA Draft, it's whether they'll get "serious" enough to actually pull the trigger.
In theory, the Heat can put everything on the table, and there's a scenario that it stands as the best offer for the Bucks, but Milwaukee still needs to decide to make the move. And, honestly, there's still no guarantee that's going to happen.
Will the Bucks actually trade Giannis?
Despite the longstanding whispers and rumors, Giannis hasn't seemingly pushed for a trade just yet. And the Bucks may not feel obligated to trade Giannis unless that happens, whether that's in the public light or behind the scenes.
That's truly the frustrating part for the Heat. It's this waiting game that they've been patiently waiting for over the last year or so. And that will certainly continue over these next few weeks.
That will open up an entirely different bucket of concerns for Heat fans. However, when it comes to the actual negotiation of a deal, it doesn't seem that the Heat's front office is going to fall into their mistakes of the past.
At least on that front, that will allow Heat fans to sleep peacefully at night.
