Rich Paul just cosigned what the Miami Heat's best pitch to LeBron James may sound like.

It revolves around the idea that with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo, LeBron would be able to focus on playmaking while taking it easy on himself on the defensive end of the floor. On that end of the floor, it may be an ideal fit for LeBron at this point in his career.

And as LeBron continues to craft his spot-up shooting ability, he could seemingly fit into the Heat's offense as well. Not to mention that he'd immediately emerge as Miami's best playmaking option, too.

From a basketball perspective, as Paul seemingly agreed during his podcast with Max Kellerman, the Heat are a very good fit for LeBron at this stage of his career.

Is basketball fit enough for the Heat to land LeBron James?

As far as a pure basketball fit, there may not be a better possible landing spot for LeBron than the Heat. After the addition of Jaylen Brown, perhaps that argument can be made for the Philadelphia 76ers, too, but as far as Cleveland and Golden State are concerned, the Heat may have them beat.

That may not be the case when it comes to what's best for the narrative of LeBron's career, but basketball-wise, the Heat make sense.

The question is, will the basketball fit trump LeBron's lure of "happiness" in Golden State or Cleveland?

What will end up weighing more for LeBron in this decision? How much would LeBron embrace playing next to Steph Curry and Draymond Green in Golden State? The Warriors would certainly have their work cut out for them to reach contender status in the Western Conference, especially with how good the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are projected to be again, but maybe the power of friendship weighs more?

Or maybe the desire to put an exclamation point on his career would matter more. Perhaps finishing where it all began in Cleveland for the final season or two of LeBron's career holds more overall weight.

Then there's chasing a title with Bam and Giannis in Miami, or even with Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, and Tyrese Maxey in Philly.

Time will ultimately give us all the answers we need on the LeBron front, but at this point, it's impossible to predict how this will all play out. And, as has been evident throughout his career, that's exactly the way LeBron likes it.

But if LeBron does end up in Miami, it will certainly be because of what Paul and Kellerman were hinting at during their podcast.
