In our weekend edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, Carmelo Anthony talk dominates the news. We cover the Anthony talk and more as we recap the last few days.

In today’s weekend edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we’ll catch up on the stories we’ve written so far this week here at All U Can Heat. We’ve finished off the last of our Three Goals series, outlining the top goals for each player on the roster, and launched into the next phase of our offseason coverage. We’ve also got some coverage of the ongoing Carmelo Anthony saga, and discussion about how the Heat could factor in down the road.

Without further ado, we’ll get started as we look back at what we’ve written the past few days.

A bold prediction for the Heat in 2019-20:

We launch our Bold Prediction series with a bold prediction for the Heat in the coming season. Considering the boldness with which team president Pat Riley and the Miami Heat have operated with this summer, it would be foolish to not look ahead with some bold predictions of our own. Kenneth Wilson looks into the crystal ball for the boldest prediction he can find for 2019-20.

Drummond withdrawal paves way for Bam Adebayo with Team USA:

Team USA has been beset with defections ahead of camp to prepare for the FIBA World Cup. The most recent to remove himself from consideration is Detroit Pistons’ center Andre Drummond. This may clear a path for Bam Adebayo to not just make the team but perhaps even start at center if he can impress head coach Gregg Popovich and assistants Steve Kerr, Jay Wright and Lloyd Pierce.

3 goals for the Heat in the 2019-20 season:

In the conclusion of our Three Goals series, our John Jablonka took a macro look at the Miami Heat and broke down the top three objectives for the team and organization in the coming season.

Why the Heat should look into signing Carmelo Anthony:

Carmelo Anthony has been in the news lately as the offseason drones on. After bouncing from team to team the last couple of seasons, he is currently out of the league and it appears there is not much interest in recruiting his services. Our Kenneth Wilson makes the case for the Miami Heat signing Anthony.
