The Miami Heat didn’t quietly go about securing one of the better point guards and perhaps, the best acquisitions of the offseason, silently. In fact, the moves they made had quite the bit of fuss attached to them, perhaps even by an executive down in New Orleans, as suspected by a former player in JJ Redick.

Something that hasn’t been so beaten into the ground though, actually quite under-discussed and not that it’s a bad thing, is the fact that the Miami Heat brought Victor Oladipo back. A huge deal in the onset, of course, expectations, this, and/or that hasn’t been discussed to the point of nausea with him.

That’s typically not the case, not in situations like this and especially not with Miami Heat guys. The silence though… is such a beautiful noise.

The Miami Heat put a nice touch on things by bringing Victor Oladipo back into the fold. Not being talked a ton, expectation wise, it should be a good scenario.

With the most news about him, of recent, being his opinion or inside-track when it comes to the latest musical release of hip-hop artist, Kanye West, that’s about as much excitement as you’ve gotten from or about Oladipo since he re-signed with Miami. Well, he did switch agencies, but that was either right before or simultaneous as coming back to Miami.

There is this one thing about him, maybe, returning sooner. However, that may be based on something earlier on in the process… or not  but either way, isn’t super-pressurizing.

When it comes to a guy like Oladipo, a potential game-changer for Miami if he’s right and a guy looking to get fully right againnot having a ton of pressure on him could mean a ton for him and the totality of his situation. Think about last season, in example, that may have had something to do with it all, perhaps.

Not just the pressure of performing in Miami but he’s been a bit hesitant to do certain things, playing wise, for a few years now (such as Kawhi Leonard at one point). He put himself in a scenario to have to play last season, but his body wouldn’t sustain under the pressure of actually doing it.

All in all, not having to answer to anyone or live up to any set of lofty expectations as he tries to fully recuperate could mean a world of difference for Oladipo and his recovery. If he can get back to 70 percent or better and remain healthy there, that takes the Miami Heat up another notch.

The further beyond that he can go and remain healthy, the higher they can climb as a group. That, though, is why the silence about Victor Oladipo is a beautiful noise.
