The Miami Heat are a title-worthy team this season. Though they’ve had some tough losses, they’ve had some pretty good wins too.

While there are a ton of things that they could stand to clean up, there are a few things that stick out more than others. Here are three things that you absolutely hate to see from this Heat team.

Offensive Lulls And Stagnation

The Miami Heat have had this issue for several seasons now. There come too many points in a given game and throughout the season…. where they just go cold.

They can’t get good offense off, the shots won’t fall, and it often leads to something cataclysmic for them. There are several great examples already from this season.

When you look at their first loss of the year, Indiana, they struggled to score throughout. However, near the end of the game in the those crunch moments, they went totally stale, while the Pacers were able to make more and enough plays to get the game.

The same thing happened against Utah… twice. The Miami Heat got out to amazing offensive starts, only to cool off late.

The Jazz found themselves down big in two fourth periods, only to have shots to win both the games at the end. You could also look, specifically, at the Clippers contest.

This is a game that saw the Miami Heat score 40 points in the first period, only to have a 18 point second period. This allowed the Clippers to climb back, surpass, and eventually beat the Heat.

The stagnation is terrible, at times, and the Heat need to do all they can to fight against those moments.
