Miami Heat: There Is Still A Plenty To Be Thankful For With This Team
The Miami Heat are coming off a series of very peculiar games. Though they have won a few of those games that would qualify in this select group, they have made them more interesting than they had to be, for lack of better terms.
The New Orleans Pelicans contest, the second Washington Wizards game, the Detroit Pistons effort, and the latest defeat, to the Minnesota Timberwolves, have all been rather wonky games… to say the least.
They allowed the Pelicans to open the game in control, they gave up a huge lead late to the Washington Wizards, they allowed the Pistons to get out of the gate controlling the contest, and well… the Minnesota Timberwolves contest speaks for itself.
The Miami Heat have sputtered in their last few contests, it is true. However, they are still one of the best teams in the league, which is also true.

With all of that though, this Miami Heat team is still 12-7. This Miami Heat is still tied for second in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, with a chance to impact their standings, directly, in their next contest, one against the team they are tied with in the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
The Bulls do play on Friday, meaning they’ll be on the second leg of a back to back in the game against Miami and though they may win that game to jump up one, the Heat still have a chance to give them a notch in the “L” column while also notching another victory of their own.
With their current record though, that is still good enough for a top record in the entire league. They are still coached by one of the best coaches in sports and the NBA, though you need him to be sure to be on his A-Game for the rest of the year.
They still have a core four of guys they can trust and one of the best benches in the league. Flat-out and though it doesn’t seem like it, at times, throughout this latest bundle of games, they are still one of the best teams in the league.
